Establishment Grant

The Establishment Grant is a one-off payment to carers of someone else's child to help with the costs when a child first comes into their care, for example a bed, bedding and clothing.

  • We don't think you can get this because:

    • None of your children are eligible for Orphan's Benefit or Unsupported Child's Benefit

    • How to apply for Establishment Grant

    You'll automatically get this payment when you get Unsupported Child’s Benefit or Orphan’s Benefit. You don't have to apply for it.

    If you can apply online for more than one service, you only need to fill out the form once.
